Their practice treats sound as a threshold medium—tactile and unstable—a means to displace fixed viewpoints and attune to dynamics between bodies, materials, time, and place.
Sappa’s work unfolds through improvisation and a sustained attention to site; found and discarded materials are reconfigured into resonant bodies, where listening becomes both mode and ethic; a way of entering into affective relation with social histories and the more-than-human.
